28-year-old Egyptian man wakes up at his own funeral
5/12/2012A 28-year-old man suffered a heart attack while working as a waiter and was returned to his small hometown in Luxor, Egypt. His grief-stricken family prepared his body according to Islamic traditions and gathered loved ones for his funeral. When the doctor arrived to sign the death certificate she found his body was curiously warm and she was able to revive him at his own funeral. (She also had to revive the young man's mother, who fainted at the good news -- this is one Mother's Day surprise we don't suggest trying to replicate). In a heartwarming turn that seems straight out of a movie, guests immediately celebrated the profound homecoming party rather than the funeral they'd planned.
