Draw your masterpieces in the air with this 3-D printing pen
2/19/2013Now that you've recovered from the "wow" factor of 3-D printed bird beaks and .22-caliber pistols, check out the 3Doodler, a pen that lets you draw 3-D pictures in the air. The pen works by melting and emitting plastic, just like a 3-D printer. The plug-in device is the brainchild of an MIT engineer and a toy-maker who boast that the gizmo's great for fabricating 3-D models, jewelry, fridge magnets and architectural models. Now as much as you need a miniature Eiffel Tower RIGHT NOW, you're going to have to wait; the duo is still raising cash to bring their funky product to market. [Source]
