6-year-old sells lemonade to help sick dad, raises $10,000
4/19/2012For the uninsured, hospitals bills may sometimes seem like a scourge even greater than physical illness. But the innocent optimism of a kid can help to put debt in perspective and remind us of what really matters. An appearance on the local news helped publicize Drew's efforts, but the generosity of his neighbors and customers who came from miles away to buy a cup of lemonade is what made the boy's effort so successful.
