600-year-old bras look surprisingly comfy and slightly sexy

We don’t think of 15th-century Austria as a particularly sexy or progressive place, but a recent discovery could change that. Archeologists at Vienna's University of Innsbruck found four linen bras in an Austrian castle back in 2008, but the discovery wasn’t announced until today (it took years for researchers to study the garments and ensure they were genuine). The discovery surprised many fashion experts -- it was commonly believed bras were invented in the 19th century, with women wearing restrictive corsets prior to that era. The Austrian bras resembled modern bras in structure, and were also designed with fancy ornamentation, implying they were made with more than just function in mind. [Source]
