A 70-year-old crossing guard at a primary school in the United Kingdom already has 11 college degrees, but that's not stopping him from going for a 12th. Bruce Berry, a member of Mensa, is keeping himself busy these days working toward his second Ph.D. "I like to keep an open mind," Berry told the BBC. "Anything which catches my interest, I go for it." Although studies have mostly focused on languages, his first doctorate is in philosophy.
