75 cars doing donuts at once breaks inane world record
3/27/2012In a stunt that Tweeps are calling "hilariously insane" and the "ultimate badassery," 75 drivers took their wheels out for a spin in the parking lot of California's Infineon Raceway. This wasn't just any old joyride. Fulfilling every high school boy's burn-rubber dream, the daredevils set a new Guinness World Record for simultaneous donuts over a 15-second span, easily besting the previous record of 57 cars that completed the feat. "That was a blast, with all the smoke," says professional drifter Calvin Wan. "I've never seen anything as big as that." Pretty cool trick, guys -- but how in the wide, wide world of automotive absurdity did you keep from crashing into each other?
Do you think taxpayers should fund the op?
