Baby sloth won't eat without its cuddly teddy bear

You've always thought sloths were the cutest, cuddliest creatures on earth, and now you have proof. When this little tree crawler's mom couldn't produce enough milk at the Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands where it lived, caretakers figured out they needed to feed Baby Sjakie with a syringe. However, it was used to clinging to mom during milk time and refused to eat. After the story got out, the two-year-old daughter of one of the zookeepers donated her teddy bear as a surrogate cuddler for Sjakie. Now the two cozy up together at mealtime and the baby sloth suckles down on a variety of foods, including milk and pureed veggies. [Source]
