Many of us have childhood memories of a parent reading to us. It's an intimate and loving act. That explains why a photo posted to Reddit today of a father reading to his child over Skype resonated with users, an action made even more poignant because the dad in the image is a soldier in uniform. The image drew more than a thousand comments in a little over four hours, and it's easy to understand why once you have seen the image. The soldier hunched over a laptop with a laughably oversized book making certain his child can see the book's pictures.
