F1 driver takes the Lincoln Tunnel at 190mph
8/19/2012For most drivers, getting through the Lincoln Tunnel at any speed other than “parking lot” is a pretty major victory. In a promotion for F1 racing in New Jersey, however, driver David Coulthard got the chance to take the famous New Jersey-Manhattan tunnel at a blistering 190mph, and boy does it fly by. Thanks to an onboard camera and several camera crews throughout the tunnel, you can see every angle of what it looks like to actually drive inside the Lincoln Tunnel, rather than just stare at the brake lights in front of you. The tunnel is kind of grey and boring, but we're definitely convinced me that we need to start commuting by F1 racer.
