Aaron Sorkin jumps on Steve Jobs biopic bandwagon
5/16/2012Looks like movies about the life of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs are the next big trend in Hollywood. Sony Pictures has greenlit a biopic about Jobs to be written by Aaron Sorkin, the Oscar-winning screenwriter who penned "The West Wing" and "The Social Network." "In [Sorkin's] hands, we're confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining and polarizing," boasted Sony Pictures boss Amy Pascal. Sorkin's Steve Jobs project will go head-to-head with "Jobs," a movie starring Ashton Kutcher as the tech visionary.
