ABC wants to digitally enhance Madonna’s black bra3/30/2012
Madonna's TV ads for her Truth or Dare fragrance show too much for ABC's tastes. When execs viewed the black-and-white ad that features the 53-year-old singer in a corset and fishnets, writhing on the floor, they immediately came back with changes for producers to make, the New York Post reports. A source tells the site that network suits wanted Madonna's "bra digitally made bigger ... and her corset longer to cover more of her bottom." ABC also wants her suggestive writhing cut completely, lest it corrupt viewers' delicate sensibilities. But even if Madonna's team makes the changes, the ad still might be too suggestive to run earlier than 9 p.m.
