Absent-minded grandpa leaves granddaughter in car trunk
4/12/2012A German man received a warning from police this week after he accidentally left his granddaughter in the trunk of his car while he took a stroll. According to police, the 9-year-old girl had asked to ride in the trunk of her grandfather's car for a trip to a local lake. But, when they arrived, grandpa became so distracted by the sheer beauty of the scenery that he forgot she was in the car and decided to wander. Luckily, someone heard the girl calling for help and called police, who freed her. The man promised to never let anyone travel in his car's trunk again.
