Adorable puppy miraculously survives three-story fall

​This "miracle puppy" experienced a stroke of tremendous good fortune, following an act of shocking cruelty. Nine-week-old Lola, a long-haired dachshund, was thrown from a third-story balcony and managed to survive. Her owner, Kendria Dexter, allegedly threw Lola after getting in a fight with a rommate over a pair of headphones. Dexter has been charged with cruelty to animals and released on $1,000 bail. As for Lola, vets say she's "not out of the woods yet" but is slowly recovering after at first being "given a 10 to 15 percent chance of survival."
