This invisible umbrella is the coolest way to stay dry
12/2/2012Don't you just hate it when the wind picks up in a storm and blows your umbrella inside out or sends it flying down the street? Designers Je Sung Park and Woo Jung Kwon have created an umbrella that solves these problems (and many more) by doing away with everything but the handle. Instead of having to flip open the canvas top when you walk out into a storm, their umbrella shoots air up through the handle, creating a shield of wind that stops the rain without having any of the drawbacks of a tangible object. Since the puff of air is invisible, it looks like you have a magic rain-stopping wand. [Source]
