When did Reddit, everyone’s favorite place to post a picture of their cat with a sock on its head, become a worldwide symposium where you could chat face to face with the political elite? President Obama did a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) leading up to the election, and today Al Gore got online to talk turkey about climate change and answer anything for half an hour. A narrow window of time made even narrower by the former vice president’s reportedly slow response to questions, which we assume were caused by either his thoughtful and thorough answers, his surreptitiously checking out his fantasy football lineup or his possibly only typing with his middle fingers.
