Alaska senators: Yes, the Congress pay raise is insane

Ranting hatred of Congressional gridlock — as symbolized by anger over the controversial Congressional pay raise of one-half to one percent approved by President Obama earlier this week — might be the thing to bring us together. Alaska's senators, Lisa Murkowski, a Republican, and Mark Begich, a Democrat, have gone on record against the pay rise, Congress's first since 2009.
