Was Alec Baldwin's latest 'incident' a hate crime? The NYPD is on it

An NYPD rep says that Alec Baldwin is being investigated by the department's hate crimes task force over a recent flap with the paparazzi. The New York Post claims that reporter Tara Palmeri gave the NYPD a recording of the incident, in which Baldwin is accused of threatening to choke her and hurling a racial slur. Baldwin's "Beetlejuice" buddy Michael Keaton weighed in on the incident last night, telling TMZ that Baldwin isn't a racist but a "good guy, funny guy, really talented." Baldwin's "30 Rock" co-star Tracy Morgan, for his part, told KISS 95.1 that while he wasn't certain that Baldwin was guilty, "There's no excuse for that. You're in your 50s.
