Jerk pretends to be Red Cross worker, allegedly to rob Sandy victims
11/5/2012Despite all of the incredible stories of kindness and good will that have come out of the Hurricane Sandy aftermath, there's still at least one dirtbag out there trying to further wreck victims' lives. Today's Terrible Person is Alfonso Manzo, who pulled on a red-and-white coat and pretended to be a Red Cross worker so he could tug on doors and peer in windows, likely preparing (as police think) to rob empty Staten Island homes. He was questioned by sharp-eyed cops and admitted that he wasn't an official official. Manzo, unsurprisingly, is a felon and four-time jail inmate with convictions for attempted robbery. [Source]
