Algorithm says Duke is March Madness' most exciting team
3/12/2012The truth can hurt, and the alleged truth is this: Duke is the most exciting March Madness squad. So says Thuuz, a mobile app that tracks real-time excitement of games on a scale of 0 to 100 and alerts you when a game reaches a certain threshold of quality. Duke's 67.5 score beat out UConn's 66, but there's a catch: the truly great teams play some clunkers in which they straight roll over their opponents, lowering their scores. Still, there's probably something to it, as Duke and UConn are the last two national champions.
