All US presidents are descended from the same king — except one

8/5/2012

There’s a common royal family tie binding all U.S. presidents but one — but we’re betting the exception might surprise you. According to the research of 12-year old BridgeAnne D’Avignon from California, every president aside from Martin Van Buren is a descendant of King John of England, the monarch who signed the Magna Carta in 1215. Prior to D’Avignon’s research, historians had only connected 22 presidential families. There can only be two explanations for this: Either you can go back far enough to connect most rich, powerful people to other rich, powerful people, or the Illuminati plot to run the country has been exposed by a seventh-grader.
