Hackers leave a note on the website of non-tipping pastor2/2/2013
After Alois Bell gave an Applebee's waitress a snarky note instead of a tip and then got a waitress fired for posting the recipt to Reddit, the minister said it was "a lapse in my character and judgment" and asked for God's mercy. Well, God may have given Bell a pass, but the Internet is not so forgiving. In addition to a viral petition asking for the waitress' job back, hackers have now hacked Bell's website to show an image of the receipt, links to news stories about the incident, and a passage from Luke about the benefits of generosity. However, some sources are reporting that Bell did leave an 18 percent tip in cash, which makes the cyber-retribution against Bell seem a little ill-informed. [Source]
