Police seek cyberstalker after teen's viral video and suicide10/14/2012
After a heartbreaking video made by a bullied teen went viral following her suicide, investigators are seeking the stranger Amanda Todd met online who allegedly cyberstalked her and coerced her into taking a topless photo. Canadian police are following hundreds of tips that have come in since Todd, 15, was found dead Wednesday at her home in Port Coquitlam, B.C. Prior to her death, she had posted a distressing video to YouTube chronicling her desperation after, in 7th grade, she met a man online who talked her into flashing the webcam. For more than a year, he cyberstalked her, made threats, and shared the humiliating photo online, causing such devastating bullying that Todd had to switch schools. Police now hope to find the predator. [Source]
