America steals more crappy music than any other country

According to the Digital Music Index, which recently analyzed millions of illegal BitTorrent downloads, the United States is the world's downloadiest country. USA! USA! USA! Americans have racked up more than 96 million illegal music downloads during the first six months of 2012 (yeah, they found out about that Nickelback album you didn't pay for), and the most downloaded artist is Drake. The United Kingdom is second, with 43 million downloads, and that country is most frequently ripping off indie ginger Ed Sheeran. "If you love music, download legally because that's the only way we can keep on giving you great music," says Geoff Taylor, a concerned British music executive.
