America will soon (inevitably) have pizza vending machines
6/13/2012Americans love vending machines. Which raises the question, why hadn't anyone thought of a pizza vending machine years and years ago? Dutch company A1 Concepts is introducing just that — a vending machine that produces piping hot (and, we imagine, mediocre) pizza in less than three minutes. Introduced in Europe three years ago, the Let's Pizza machines will soon hit American stores. Each machine has a store of mineral water, flour, sauce and toppings and can make up to 200 pizzas. Patrons can choose from four kinds of pizzas. The whole process takes about 2.5 minutes, and will likely cost American customers $5.95 for each 10.5-inch pie.
