Trusting newlyweds horrified by theft of gifts worth $10K

9/28/2012

Amy and Jason Wright had enjoyed a beautiful wedding day with their nearest and dearest. So imagine how distraught they felt when they woke up the next morning to find all their wedding gifts, worth around $10,000, had been stolen overnight. And just how did the thieves make off with this nuptial loot? Amy, 30, and Jason, 31, had left the gifts and cash their guests had given them outside, under a tent, on the Springfield Township, Pa. farm where they held their wedding. While the thieves helped themselves to the gifts outside, the couple had been sleeping in a house about 20 yards away. Amy said, "It sounds sad to say but I just feel like I can't trust the world anymore." [Source]
