Man accused of grand theft auto while pursuing course of true love
1/26/2013It’s that romantic gesture every little girl dreams of. Your ex-boyfriend shows up at your house the day of your wedding in a truck he just stole in an effort to convince you not to marry someone else. The fairy tale came true for one lucky Utah woman. After a friend failed to give him a ride, 30-year old Andrew Curtis was pushed to a lover’s only recourse. He allegedly hopped into a truck left unlocked and running and sped away to do some last-minute wooing of his ex-girlfriend. Alas, the lady wasn’t convinced to abandon her nuptials by this gallantry, and on his way to return the vehicle, police say Curtis crashed into a church parking lot and is currently out on bail.
