Ex-Philly coach Andy Reid takes charge of hapless Kansas City Chiefs

1/4/2013

After less than a week on the unemployment lines, former Eagles boss Andy Reid has agreed to replace the fired Romeo Crennel as Kansas City Chiefs coach. Faith in Reid's ability is clearly strong in K.C. During his tenure in Philly, the Eagles made the playoffs nine times, winning 130 regular season and 10 playoff games. The Chiefs had 98 wins, three postseason appearances and no postseason wins under five different coaches over the same period. However, Reid's turnaround skills will be sorely tested: The Chiefs went 2-14 this season, matching the worst record in franchise history. The silver lining? He has the No. 1 pick in the next draft.
