Angela Goodwin really doesn't have an ant problem in her house, and even if she did she knows an exterminator is just a phone call away. But she does have an anteater problem, with no intention of getting rid of it. The Oregon woman adopted her first sticky-tongued devil seven years ago, and now Pua and Aurora have the run of the joint — snuggling up in her washing machine at night, breaking into the fridge for a snack and swinging from the shelves. But it's no bed of wild grass. "There are a lot of drawbacks to having anteaters in your home," she admitted. "I've had them claw holes in the drywall. They're very messy. Sometimes the dogs will follow them around hoping the food will fall off their claws." Hey, dogs do that with humans, too. [Source]
