Bizarre bet ends in angler choking to death on live fish
11/26/2012On one hand, it's truly sad that this man died. On the other hand, the "How'd That Happen?" factor is so far over the top that it begs further examination. The man allegedly bet friends that he could hold the small, live sole fish between his teeth for a minute, so that explains (sort of) how the fish got into his mouth and then "swam" down his throat. But if it's true that he was with "friends," why did this quickly suffocating man have to drive HIMSELF two miles to a hospital only to die soon after arriving? Something is decidedly fishy here.
