Budweiser upset Denzel got drunk drinking its beer in 'Flight'

Denzel Washington is scary-good playing an alcoholic pilot in the new film “Flight.” As Whip Whitaker, Washington is masterful as a self-destructive anti-hero flyboy who can’t stay sober. His drink of choice? Well, anything, really, though some pivotal scenes prominently feature Budweiser and Stoli vodka. Now, Anheuser-Busch (which brews Bud) and William Grant & Sons (the U.S. distributor of Stoli) are pissed the film implies that their alcoholic beverages get you drunk. Anheuser-Busch is particularly hopped off, asking Paramount Pictures to obscure or remove the Bud logo from the film. However, in more sobering news, it's unlikely the company has much legal recourse.
