Announcer goes mental over Man City's miracle title win

Has Paul Merson calmed down yet? The Sky Sports analyst and former England soccer star lost his marbles on air yesterday in the waning minutes of Manchester City's miracle win to take the English Premier League trophy. Moments after calling City "out of ideas" and saying the team had gone "completely mental," Merson went more than a little mental himself. As the team finished its stirring comeback, he shrieked that he had "never seen anything like this! It's gone mad! It's gone mad!," and topped it with an awesomely incomprehensible "they've got love bites and everything!" If you thought the looniest soccer fans were the ones at the stadium, you'd apparently be wrong.
