Saloon's annual train mooning goes off without a stitch

Despite an increased police presence, the cheekiest stop on the Pacific Surfliner route remains Laguna Niguel, where diehards bare it all (or actually just some) at the annual Mooning of the Amtrak festivities outside the Mugs Away Saloon. It's a good deal tamer than it was a few years ago when drunken revelers turned it into such a booty call that it could have been renamed Moonstock. The tradition goes back more than 30 years to when a Mugs Away regular dared his fellow patrons to drop trou along the tracks for a free drink, and this year one participant came all the way from Albuquerque.
