Anonymous is single again after breaking up with WikiLeaks
10/14/2012Like two misfit goths at the giant high school of the Internet, hacker group Anonymous has broken up with WikiLeaks. But ... they're so perfect for each other! Um, or not. One of the many Twitter accounts controlled by Anonymous has unfollowed WikiLeaks (oh no she di'nt), calling the transparency project "an awesome idea ruined by egos." After years of collaboration, Anonymous was enraged by what it saw as a paywall that went up around Wikileaks this week. So it’s a good bet that Julian Assange is currently crying a lot, scarfing down Haagen Dazs, and planning to sleep with all of Anonymous’ friends because, well, that'll show them. [Source]
