Anonymous promises to 'punish' logo-swiping T-shirt-maker
8/1/2012Pissing off the hacktivist collective Anonymous isn’t the best business plan. But French T-shirt company Pickapop.fr has done that by trying to trademark Anonymous' question-mark logo and motto: "We are legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget. Expect us." In a creepy new video, a masked Anonymous figure robotically vows revenge, saying Pickapop.fr’s "arrogance and ignorance … will not go un punished. Anonymous will take down any business they have going on the internet and … will not stop until the registration has been revoked and a public apology has been made." You’d think the company would have known what to expect. Guess someone there really does have a question mark for a head. [Source]
Do you think the T-shirt maker is clever or clueless?
