12/26/2012Doesn't matter if they've been naughty or nice, college football players make quite a holiday haul from bowl sponsors: everything from iPod minis to Fossil watches to flat screen TVs. So what did Antone Exum get? A Santa's sack worth of karma.
The Virginia Tech cornerback was using up his $470 gift card from the Russell Athletic Bowl at an Orlando Best Buy when he decided to spend it all on three boys from the Bahamas he bumped into while shopping. Not only that, but he got two teammates to kick in the remainder of their cards for the cause. "Made their Christmas!" Exum tweeted. And his, too. [Source]
