App makes sexy pics disappear before you look like a perv
5/7/2012An "increasingly popular" iPhone app called Snapchat allows users to set a specific period of time during which a texted picture is visible, with a maximum exposure (no pun intended, Anthony Weiner) of 10 seconds. The New York Times thinks the app's existence is proof that sexting might not be going away. Although only 6 percent of adults have admitted to sending sexy texts, we wonder if the key word in that sentence is "admitted." Even Snapchat won't promise to keep your naughty bits totally safe, adding a disclaimer to its privacy policy that says messages are sent at the "risk of the user." What they're really saying is: Practice safe text.
Have you ever sent or received a risqué pic?
