Apple was churning out so many new iPads it missed deadline for new HQ
11/21/2012The future is not now after all. Apple's planned spaceship-like, circular, 2.8-million-square-foot headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., originally projected for completion in 2015, may not be completed until 2016. The reason for the delay, according to Bloomberg, is that Apple geniuses neglected to file a timely revised proposal that included several tweaks to the massive project. The new plans include revamped landscaping and more parking. If Apple doesn't break ground soon, workers might be commuting to the new 176-acre campus via jetpack, alleviating the need for parking spaces entirely. [Source]
