12/26/2012All they wanted for Christmas was an AR-15, the same kind of semi-automatic rifle used to kill the children at Sandy Hook Elementary School and the firefighters who were ambushed in upstate New York on Christmas Eve. And by the looks of photos on social media sites like Twitter and Instagram, they got what they wanted. A flurry of gun lovers – men, women and children – posted photos showing off the firearms they found under the tree Christmas morning. (Semi-automatic weapons are probably a tad too bulky to fit in most stockings.) No wonder gun sales spiked so dramatically ahead of the holiday. Thanks, Santa? [Source]
