Art heist goes awry because getaway car is too small for art
6/16/2012Wow, these Swedish art thieves need to step up their game. Two thieves broke into a man's house in Stockholm, tied him up at knifepoint and were about to abscond with three of his paintings, including Carl Larsson's "Clair-Obscur" pictured above, that together are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, until they realized the paintings would not fit in their getaway car. Who was in charge of logistics here, guys? Did you not even look up the size of these well-documented paintings?! The burglars, clearly flustered, threw one painting on the ground and the two others in a dumpster as they fled. Slow sarcastic clap, guys. Looks like Larry and Curly here need a Moe.
