Ashley Judd, senator from Kentucky? She's not ruling it out

Ashley Judd has helpfully volunteered that she isn’t ruling out a run for the U.S. senate in her former home of Kentucky. The strange thing? As far as we can tell, no one has suggested that Judd should become a politician in the first place. Judd is now an active supporter of Tennessee Democrats, but, she says, "I cherish Kentucky, heart and soul, and while I'm very honored by the consideration, we have just finished an election." Still, Judd is intelligent — she earned a master's in public administration from Harvard. She's an activist, too, and once lectured at the U.N. about sex trafficking. So maybe a run for office makes sense. If we lived in Kentucky, we just might vote for her. Perhaps that senator thing isn’t such a bad idea after all. [Source]
