Hooray for method acting! Ashton Kutcher sick from Jobs' fruit diet
1/29/2013Ashton Kutcher went from iPhone to iCalled-an-Ambulance on his new movie about Steve Jobs. Kutcher plays the Apple co-founder in the biopic "jOBS," and after adopting the entrepreneur's fruitarian diet, he found himself hospitalized with pancreas issues two days before filming started. "I was like doubled over in pain … it was really terrifying," said the star. Jobs often restricted himself to fruit-only spells, despite the risks of protein deficiencies and other health issues it brings. Critics haven't been kind to the film, so irritated reviewers may derive some perverse pleasure from the image of Kutcher struggling with intestinal distress. [Source]
