God isn't the only one who hates atheists, finds human rights report
12/10/2012It sucks to be atheist. Christmas is a hollow sham, there's no afterlife to look forward to and the whole damn world is against you. According to "Freedom of Thought 2012," a report released by the International Humanist and Ethical Union to mark U.N. Human Rights Day, there are at least seven countries where atheism has led to execution and many more where atheistic views are supressed by blasphemy laws. While Muslim states were the worst offenders, the U.S. makes several appearances. According to the paper, at least seven state constitutions bar atheists from public office and an Arkansas law bans the godless from testifying in court. [Source]
