Atlanta Braves sneak 'racist' logo back on Spring Training gear
12/29/2012A thousand years from now, all race boundaries will probably have dissolved, and all mankind will be a lovely caramel/café au lait color. However, even in this future utopia, when we're all one great family, there will probably still be racist sports logos. This is judging by the Atlanta Braves bringing back their "screaming savage" logo from 1972 to bedeck their batting practice caps for Spring Training 2013 — despite the fact that the logo has been criticized, and these days everyone from schoolboys to legitimately racist folks will tell you it's in extremely poor taste to call a Native American a "savage."
