Aussie TV airs chilling video of a shark feeding frenzy

3/19/2012

If the phrase "shark feeding frenzy" is enough to deter you from swimming in the sea again, then maybe this video isn't for you. A beach in Perth, Australia was closed after dozens of sharks descended on a group of tuna that were hunting bait fish, culminating in a terrifying, thrashing reminder of the power of nature. Despite expert Rory McAuley telling 7 News that the sharks -- mostly spinner sharks and black tip whalers -- "aren't particularly aggressive" and are small enough not to "pose a risk to public safety," we think we'll stay on the safety of the beach for now. As @gbromagen tweeted: "This is literally a doomsday scenario for me."
