Autistic boy unable to speak a sentence debuts 10-track CD

3/12/2012

Kyle Coleman has spoken only a few words in his entire life, but the severely autistic 25-year-old has discovered a hidden talent: He can sing as well as any "American Idol" contestant. The amazing British lad, whose late father was a musician, recently recorded "Kyle, Therefore I Am" a charity album that includes Robbie Williams and Cat Stevens covers, making him the first non-verbal autism sufferer in the U.K. to release his own record.

Sure, the songs may be Auto-Tuned, as certain YouTubers feel compelled to note, but overall reaction to Kyle's inspiring singing ability includes exclamations of "fantastic!" and "phenomenal!" One commenter raves, "He's not 'trapped' in a world of silence. This guy's message is brilliant."
