How fast can we kill this thing? We appreciate the skill and science that the 22 pneumatic actuators that go into making a robot baby torso, but also: ROBOT BABY TORSO?!!? Its us or them, that much is clear after seeing this baffling project from Project “Affetto,” which seems almost, in its wordless horrific images, like some kind of threat. It’s credited to Hisashi Ishihara and Minoru Asada in Osaka University, so how fast can we get to them and convince them to throw this thing and all their research into a trash compactor? The fate of humanity may depend on it.
