Ballot paper typo asks voters to decide president of 'Untied States'
10/25/2012You might know who's getting your vote in the upcoming presidential election, but have you considered who you think should preside over the "Untied States"? This is what people in Jefferson County, Wash., have been asked due to a typo on 22,596 ballots sent to voters. When contacted about the error by the Peninsula Daily News, County Auditor Donna Eldridge said, "I'm glad you brought this to us on a Tuesday instead of a Friday because it would have ruined our weekend. This way, we can just think about it a bit and say, 'Hey, we're human.'" Life's just more relaxing in the Untied States. [Source]
