The Ravens kind of lost the Lombardi Trophy
2/5/2013We understand the Baltimore Ravens were in a state of celebratory bliss after winning the Super Bowl, but all that toil was, in effect, to win a fancy silver football-on-a-stand. So it goes without saying that you probably want to make certain the trophy is always accounted for. Like a really shiny baby. But in all that postgame excitement, the Ravens apparently lost track of their newly-won Vince Lombardi Trophy, unable to say where it went between the Superdome and their victory party. The team managed to avoid serious embarrassment -- the trophy made it to the team plane today, where it was passed around for photos. [Source]
