Man robs bank only 55 minutes after being released from jail
12/2/2012Maybe Christopher Weaver is one of those criminals who feels more comfortable behind bars. Or maybe this had been something on his to-do list before he'd been rudely interrupted and thrown in the clink. In any case, when the Lane County Jail in Oregon had to release 32 inmates because of budget constraints, the 33-year-old Weaver strolled down the road and tried to rob the Pacific Continental Bank in Eugene, landing back in the slammer before the hour was up. Of course, his jailers now may have to rob a bank themselves, as they apparently don't have the money to keep him locked up. [Source]
