21-year-old who wore money dress isn't earning any points for modesty
11/21/2012People celebrating their 21st birthdays aren't known for their quiet humility, but one young woman in China has taken it further than most. The Beijing 21-year-old flaunted her wealth at her party by wearing a dress adorned with banknotes which was reportedly a gift from her "daddy" — no, we are not sure whether she meant the biological or sugar kind. "I'm told that the dress is worth 200,000 yuan [around $32,000] and my daddy used lots of connections to get it ... It overshadows the other brands such as Chanel and LV in my closet," she reportedly wrote. The girl's outfit sparked the ire of Weibo, China's version of Twitter, whose users criticized her boasting.
